this area as a special gathering place for over 50 years. News
A few notes to members & parents:
to help out our co-op pool!
- Please replace your chair, or the chair next to you, when leaving the pool (if you don’t
someone else has to) - Remember: the lifeguards are there to keep your kids safe in the water, so please make
sure your kids obey the basic pool rules on their own, and listen respectfully to the life
guards - Please! Check and make sure you’re dues are all up to date! we still have some unpaid
memberships this year
Swim-A-Thon: Sponsor your favorite Shark!
Our annual Swim-a-thon is coming up - July 12th - the week after City Meet. Just a reminder
for members & Sharks alike, all money collected by sponsorships got right back to our super
swim team! If you haven’t gotten your pledge envelopes, grab one from the clubhouse. So get
out there and get those sponsors! Every swimmer that turns in a pledge will be entered to win a
$50 Sports Basement gift certificate! And the age group that submits the most donations wins a
party with the coaches! Put you filled out envelope in the “Fundraising” folder at the pool.
We also need lap counters – so please let us know if you can help out. There will be treats
while you sit and count. 15/18s please help out counting & cheer for our younger Sharks!
